Alternate Endings brewery is such a fun spot. You would think a brewery would not be family friendly, but alas, they have it covered! It was a movie theatre in a past life so they've preserved the movie theatre vibe in the seats- some tables still have them, cup holders and all! There is actually a movie theatre inside which the kids love. If you look behind the bar, you can see where they make their beer. They also have a really funny "foam guide" if that is your thing, which makes for an interesting experience. There's something for everyone in terms of drinks. Their food menu also has burgers, pizza, salads, pretzels, etc. Overall I enjoy coming here and it's always a fun experience!

First time here. Can't believe we've never tried before. Always nervous of wine selection at a brewery, but selection was much better than I hoped for. I'm not a beer drinker but husband is. We both were pleased Awesome food too, and the staff was amazing, friendly. My hubby and I shared a Caesar salad and a Be??? pizza. Plenty for the two of us. The taste was Bee and Cae Best... actually THE best. Will most def be back.

Their menu is completely different, as well as a ton more beer. Caesar salad - the capers make it amazing, I could eat it everyday. Also the beekeeper pizza is fantastic. Cocktails are good, I believe they recently updated their selection, I wish they had the cocktails they had in the past they were all very good, but it is a beer co. so that's understandable. I'd recommend the fig and jam one. Trivia nights are so fun! Although we find them... humbling, we love them, and go often. Such a nice weekday date night, or with friends. Takes about 2 hours while you enjoy dinner and drinks.

The beer, burgers, wings and pizzas are all enjoyable. The servers are attentive and nice. Family friendly atmosphere with high chairs available. I've eaten here when movies are playing; however, it seems the theater room is closed off during private events.

Beers have definitely gotten better here. We had two juicy IPAs and both were great. For dinner we had two Detroit style pizzas - Basic B*tch (mozz, mascarpone, squash, caramelized onions, pumpkin spice candied bacon) and You've Got Kale (vodka sauce, creamed kale, vegan pepperoni, mozz, pickled cherry pepper). Much to my husband's surprise - he (and I) liked the vegan pie best!

Good food, great drinks, service is fast. This place is unique because you have a brewery that sells craft cocktails and food. They have a large full service bar to sit at as well.

First and foremost the entire staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating! A very homey and comfortable environment that is set by the staff! I've had Detroit style pizza before, not of this caliber. The dough is amazing, and accompanied by quality toppings makes it a home-run pie. Wings were great, super meaty and tons of flavor. Cheese steak was very good, despite being a tad dry for some bites! Awesome place for food, beverages, and fun!

Weekend brunch review... I've had Alternate Ending bookmarked it seems like forever. They showed up on my Facebook feed and were having an October fest brunch offering. Gotta mention that the menus are pretty extensive, both food and drinks even for a brunch. It's a very nice sized space that used to be an old movie theater. They even have a room off on the right after you enter that has a movie screen that one can reserve for a private gathering. Our server Liv was up to date on all things happening here. We came in around 11:30 and were seated at a table that had theater seating. For drinks, she had an espresso stout-tini and I chose a verde Maria. Which is a spin of a Bloody Mary. Using Tequila and a few different green veggies. It was quite tasty and brought on a little heat. :) Our entrees were a brat Benny for her, and I couldn't resist the biscuits and gravy. Both portions are pretty hearty in size. For a little sweetness at the end, try those warm apple cider donuts. Would definitely like to return and try a few local beers and some of their Detroit style pizzas.

What an amazing spot!!! So many pizza choices and their beer is fantastic!! We were able to get a table near the bar so the wait time to be seated was null!! Our server was awesome! He recommended some great beer that I loved, wanted to take a six pack but they were out of it because it was so popular. I'll definitely be back! If you're in the area you need to stop in. I recommend you get there early as seating fills up so fast but now I know why!

My husband and I stumbled upon their "Beer and Burger" Wednesday purely by chance. We're in the middle of renovations for our bathrooms and kitchen. Hunting for tiles, cabinets, and everything else has left us exhausted and starving. Cooking dinner was the absolute last thing we wanted to do. We probably should have prepared some food beforehand, but to be honest, we were drained and that is the last thing we would want to do. Knowing my husband's fervor for beer, he suggested Alternate Ending. We both craved burgers, and lucky for us, their Wednesday special was a burger and beer for just $20! They have a wide selection of beers to choose from, and the burgers come in a variety of options, including a vegan patty and a Hawaiian pulled pork option. We went for the pulled pork and the classic cheeseburger. Both were incredibly juicy and cooked exactly how we like them. They came with a mountain of fries. Fun fact: This place used to be the Matawan movie theater. They even have a two tables with the original movie theater seats as a fun throwback. They also have a dedicated area for families with young children, complete with a movie screen to keep them entertained and give parents some peace of mind. And if beer isn't your thing, they also serve wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. Parking is super easy too, with a giant lot shared by them and other nearby stores. No
